Quran: Reflection and Practice

Quran Tadabbur is an educational application built on a comprehensive and specialized methodology for training readers to reflect upon the Holy Quran and act upon its guidance, in accordance with the methodology of Ahl al-Sunnah wa al-Jama‘ah.

The app is based on dividing the Mushaf—according to the Madinah edition of the King Fahd Complex—into structured study units, where each unit corresponds to a single page of the Mushaf and is surrounded by an organized reflective and practical learning framework.

Each unit consists of four main components:
- Reflective Pauses (Tadabbur Reflections): Carefully selected reflections drawn from trusted tafsir sources, focusing on faith-based, educational, and moral objectives of the verses. These are accompanied by guiding questions that help readers develop reflective insight without the need for additional references.
- Word Meanings: Explanations of unfamiliar vocabulary appearing on the page, based on Al-Siraj fi Gharib al-Quran.
- Acting upon the Verses: Practical, application-oriented actions derived directly from the verses, aiming to connect reflection with behavior and daily practice.
- Guidance Notes: General educational, creedal, or jurisprudential guidance extracted from the verses of the page.

The application provides supportive learning tools such as adding and customizing verse separators, writing notes on verses, and listening to multiple types of recitations (tajwid-based, tartil, and instructional).

It also supports advanced search with multiple modes, includes a night reading mode, and is available in six languages. This makes Quran Tadabbur suitable for users seeking to move beyond reading toward structured reflection and practical engagement with the Quran.
