Turath is a digital Islamic library from the Nuqaya Foundation for downloading and reading Islamic books on mobile and desktop, with content sourced from Al-Maktaba Al-Shamela. This release adds the following:
An Easier Reading Experience:
- An improved sidebar for the table of contents and search, making it easier to move within a book and jump to chapters and sections.
- Clearer tab titles that help distinguish open books and switch between them.
- Open several tabs at once to compare more than one book or passage.
- Text highlighting and note-taking while reading.
Managing Highlights & Notes:
- A new page that gathers all book highlights and notes in one place, with search, filter, sort, and export.
Downloading Books & Managing the Library:
- Download any book in EPUB format to read it on other e-readers and apps.
- Download a whole collection of books at once instead of one by one.
- Update the library to the latest release of Al-Maktaba Al-Shamela.
- Report book errors directly from within the reader.
Backup & Data Portability:
- Back up and import your usage data (such as highlights, notes, and reading history) or your entire library.
